Private sessions at the member's address
Allow the member's address on a private session type and in the teacher's availability. The member types the address when booking; it is saved on that session only, and travel time is kept free before and after.
Turn it on
Private sessions, at the studio or at the member’s address, start on the Starter plan.
A session can happen at the member’s address only when both of these allow it:
- The private session type: open Passes and memberships, edit the type and set Where to the member’s address, or to the studio or the member’s address. Add the Area you travel to in each language, for example “City centre and nearby beaches”. Members read it before they type an address.
- The teacher’s availability: on Studio availability, each weekly window has Where: At the studio, At the member’s address or Studio or member’s address.
What the member gives
When booking, the member types the session address: street and number, neighbourhood, city, a reference point and notes for the teacher. A mobile phone is required, because the teacher must be able to reach them.
The address belongs to that one session. It is never copied to the member’s profile, which has no address field at all. The member is told that only their teacher and the studio see it, for that session only.
Travel time
Open Private session settings and set Travel time before, in minutes and Travel time after, in minutes (30 each to start). That time is kept free in the teacher’s day around every session at a member’s address, so it never clashes with their classes or other sessions. For example, a session from 10:00 to 11:00 holds the teacher from 09:30 to 11:30. Sessions at a member’s address do not use a studio room.
Who sees the address
- Staff see the session details.
- The assigned teacher sees the address and the member’s phone from approval until 24 hours after the session ends. Before approval, the request says the address is shown to the teacher from approval.
- Other teachers only see that the time is busy.
Note: Staff can also create a session at a member’s address for them. The same address fields and phone rule apply.
