How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.
Members
Your member list, profiles, imports, consent and members' data.
- Find a member and read their profileOpen Members to search by name, e-mail or phone, filter the list and open a profile with passes, bookings, orders, notes and consent in one place.
- Add a member yourselfChoose New member on the Members page, fill in at least a first name, confirm you have the person's permission and, if they have an e-mail, send them a welcome e-mail to sign in.
- Import members from a spreadsheetUpload a CSV file in Settings, Import, match its columns to elastudio fields, check every row before anything is saved, then import. You can undo an import for 7 days, and delete one that was never completed.
- Health notes and consentA health note tells staff what they need to teach a member safely. It needs the member's consent: the member ticks a consent box when they add it, or staff confirm the member gave written consent before saving or importing a note.
- Members under 18People under 18 cannot create their own account. Your staff add them from the member form with a parent or guardian's details and confirm that the guardian's consent is recorded. Parent accounts come later.
- Marketing consent for news by e-mailEach member chooses whether they want news and offers from your studio by e-mail. Consent starts off, only the member can give or withdraw it, and every choice is recorded.
- A member asks for their data or to be deletedMembers download their own data and delete their account from their account page. Staff can anonymise a member from the profile. Deletion erases name, contact and health details for good, while sales stay as anonymous records for your accounts.
