Move from Glofox to elastudio
Bring your members, passes, bookings and sales over from Glofox in an afternoon. You export each list from Glofox, upload it in elastudio, check it, and import. Nothing is saved until you press Import, and you can undo an import for 7 days.
How Glofox exports
Glofox downloads its lists as CSV. You need admin access to Manage and Reports. Exporting payment or billing data through your account manager may cost up to US$500.
Before you start
In elastudio, go to Settings, Import, choose Glofox under I’m coming from… and follow the files in order. Create your passes and memberships in elastudio first, with the same names as in Glofox, so members’ passes find them. Some column names come from the platform’s help pages and may have changed: any column we do not recognise, you match yourself.
Only the owner and admins can import, on every plan, including Free.
File 1: Members
- Go to Manage, Members.
- Filter Membership by Active, then Actions, Download. Repeat with the other statuses you want to bring over.
Email Consent and SMS Consent are never imported. Credits Remaining and Membership Expiry Date go in the next file.
File 2: Memberships and credits
- Open Reports, Memberships, Members and set Columns to all.
- Click Download table report and choose CSV.
- For class packs, add a Credits Remaining column from the members file if the report has none.
- If the file has no e-mail column, add one (copy it from the members file): bookings, passes and sales find each member by e-mail.
- Create the same passes and memberships in elastudio first (Settings, Passes and memberships), with the same names as in the file.
Ended and cancelled memberships are left out: only what members can still use comes over.
File 3: Transactions
- Open Reports, Transactions Report, pick the dates and download the CSV.
- If the file has no e-mail column, add one (copy it from the members file): bookings, passes and sales find each member by e-mail.
Upload each file
- In the guide, choose Upload this file next to the file. The page says it is using the Glofox template.
- Check the column matches. The columns the template knows are already matched. Choose a field for any column left on Ignore this column, or leave it ignored.
- Check Dates in the file. The template sets it, and you can change it to day first, month first or year first.
- Choose Preview, then Check every row. Nothing is saved yet.
- Choose Continue to import, then Import now.
Once a file is in, the guide marks it Imported and you move on to the next one. Rows Glofox exports that are not real data, such as cancelled visits or unpaid orders, show as left out in the check, never as errors.
If your file looks different
This guide is based on Glofox’s public help pages. Some menus and column names may have changed since we checked them on 27 Oct 2026.
Nothing blocks the import when a column is not recognised:
- Any column elastudio does not recognise stays on Ignore this column. Match it to an elastudio field yourself, or leave it out.
- Use Save this column match as to keep your matches for the next file of the same kind.
- If the guide does not fit your screens at all, choose Another system or a spreadsheet under I’m coming from… and match every column yourself, as in Import members from a spreadsheet.
Want a better guide for Glofox? Send the first row of your file (the column names only, never member data) to support@elastudio.app and we update the template.
What never comes over
Marketing, WhatsApp and SMS consent (members give it again in elastudio), card details, and identity documents.
Note: Glofox also has a public API: REST API (members, memberships, credits, classes, bookings, payments); access by request to ABC Glofox, on the top plan (API documentation). elastudio imports files only; connecting to a platform’s API is not available yet.
