How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.
Private sessions
One-to-one and small group sessions, at the studio or at the member's address.
- Set up private sessionsCreate a private session type in Settings, Passes and memberships, give teachers that session type and their availability, then check the rules in Private session settings. Private sessions start on the Starter plan.
- Approve or decline a private session requestBoth the studio and the teacher must approve, in either order. The card is charged only after the second approval. A request nobody approves in time expires on its own and nothing is charged.
- Private sessions at the member's addressAllow the member's address on a private session type and in the teacher's availability. The member types the address when booking; it is saved on that session only, and travel time is kept free before and after.
- Set a price per extra personPerson 1 pays the base price; each extra person pays a percentage of it. elastudio's recommended scale: people 2 to 5 pay 60% each, then 50%, 40%, 30% and 20%, then 10% per person from the 10th.
- Set teacher availability and connect Google CalendarEach teacher sets their own hours for private sessions in My schedule. On Studio availability, the owner and admins choose each teacher's session types, see their Google Calendar, and can adjust their hours for the studio. Classes, other sessions and Google busy times are taken out on their own.
- Create, move or cancel a private sessionStaff can create a private session for a member with a card link, pay at the studio or complimentary. Move a session only with the member's agreement. A studio cancellation always refunds in full.
- Private session e-mails and reminderselastudio e-mails the member, the teacher and the studio at each step of a private session. Turn on a reminder before each session in Private session settings, and add up to 5 more studio addresses under E-mails to the studio.
