Plans, the free trial, currencies, changing plan and cancelling.
- Which elastudio plan is right for my studio?There are four plans: Free, Starter, Growth and Pro. They differ in limits and in a few features. None of them takes a cut of your sales, and yearly billing costs less.
- How the Starter free trial worksStarter comes with 14 days free, billed monthly or yearly. You enter a card at sign-up, nothing is charged for 14 days, and if you cancel before the trial ends you pay nothing.
- Which currency you pay in, and taxesStudios in Brazil pay in reais, studios in Canada in Canadian dollars plus tax, and studios everywhere else in US dollars. The checkout always shows the exact amount before any charge.
- Change or cancel your elastudio planThe owner subscribes, moves up, moves down or cancels in Settings, Plan and usage. Moving up applies now; moving down and cancelling apply at the end of the period you paid. Cancel within 7 days of your first monthly payment, or within 30 days of a yearly payment, and you get it back in full, automatically.
- What happens if a payment for my plan fails?Your plan keeps working while Stripe retries the payment. If it is still unpaid 7 days after it was due, your studio moves to Free. Your data stays and you do not owe the unpaid charge.
- What counts as an active member?An active member is someone who booked or bought something at your studio that month. Past members stored in your list never count.
- See your plan, invoices and how much you useSettings, Plan and usage has two tabs. Plan shows your elastudio plan, its status and price, the next charge, your card and your invoices. Usage shows how much of each limit you use. Only the owner changes the plan or pays.
- What happens when you reach a plan limitAt a limit you cannot add more of that item: staff logins, locations, rooms, passes or memberships. At the monthly active member limit nobody new can join until the 1st, but everyone already registered keeps booking. Nothing you have is deleted or switched off.
