Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

What happens if a payment for my plan fails?

Your plan keeps working while Stripe retries the payment. If it is still unpaid 7 days after it was due, your studio moves to Free. Your data stays and you do not owe the unpaid charge.

When a payment fails

A renewal can fail because a card expired, was replaced or hit its limit. This also applies to the first charge after the Starter trial.

  1. We tell you by e-mail that the payment failed.
  2. Stripe tries the payment again over the next days.
  3. Your plan keeps working normally while Stripe retries.

In Settings, Plan and usage, a red notice says Your last payment did not go through and the date to pay by. The owner can select Pay now to pay the open invoice on Stripe’s page, or Update card to change the card on Stripe’s page. Plan changes wait until the invoice is paid. You can also ask your bank why the charge was declined. If you need help, write to support@elastudio.app.

After 7 days unpaid

If the payment is still unpaid 7 days after it was due, the paid subscription is cancelled and your studio moves to the Free plan:

  • all your data stays and nothing is deleted;
  • your existing members, passes and memberships keep working;
  • actions that would go over a Free limit are blocked, for example new members joining beyond 20 active members that month, or creating more passes (see the article on plan limits);
  • features of your old plan, such as the waitlist, private sessions and reports, take no new use, while what you already have keeps working (people waiting keep their place, sessions already booked stand); promo codes can no longer be redeemed;
  • staff logins are blocked, and only the studio owner can sign in to the admin. Your team sees The studio’s plan ended unpaid when they try;
  • the unpaid charge is cancelled, so you do not owe it.

Note: Your members can still book and pay you. Their payments go to your own Stripe account and are not affected by your elastudio plan payment.

Getting your plan back

The owner opens Plan and usage and selects Choose a plan to subscribe again. The plan you choose comes back as soon as the payment goes through, with its limits, and your team can sign in again.
