See your plan, invoices and how much you use
Settings, Plan and usage has two tabs. Plan shows your elastudio plan, its status and price, the next charge, your card and your invoices. Usage shows how much of each limit you use. Only the owner changes the plan or pays.
Where to find it
Open Settings (the cog at the bottom of the menu; on a phone, under More) and choose Plan and usage, under Money. The page has two tabs, Plan and Usage, and each has its own address, so you can bookmark either one.
The owner and admins can open it. Admins see everything on the page, but only the owner can change the plan, update the card or pay. Admins see the line Only the studio owner can change the plan or pay.
Your plan
The Plan tab starts with Your plan: the plan name, a status and the price.
- Complimentary: elastudio offers the plan to your studio free of charge. Nothing is charged, there is nothing to change on this page, and the page shows what the plan normally costs.
- Free trial: how many days are left, and until when.
- Active: your subscription is paid. The page says when it renews and whether you pay Monthly or Yearly.
- Payment overdue: the last payment did not go through. See “When a payment is overdue” below.
- Cancellation scheduled: you cancelled and the plan ends on the date shown.
- Cancelled: the subscription has ended.
- No payment needed: you are on Free.
Canadian prices are shown before tax, with a line for the GST or HST of your province. The card also says which support your plan has.
What your plan includes
A list of the main features of your plan. Above Free, it starts with “Everything in” the plan below, plus what this one adds.
Billing
Once your studio pays for a plan, Billing shows:
- Next charge: the amount and the date, or Nothing to charge.
- Card: the card on file, for example “Visa ending in 4242, expires 08/2028”. The owner selects Update card to change it on Stripe’s secure page. elastudio never sees the full card number.
- Billing country: where your currency and tax come from (see below).
If Stripe cannot be reached for a moment, the page shows your plan from our own records and says the invoices and the card come back shortly.
Billing country and currency
Before the first subscription, the owner sets the Billing country, and in Canada the Province. Your currency comes from this country: Brazil pays in R$, Canada in CA$, every other country in US$. In Canada the GST or HST of your province is added. elastudio is not available in Quebec yet.
Once your studio has subscribed, the billing country stays the same.
Invoices
Invoices lists every invoice from elastudio with its date, number, amount and status (Paid, Open, Void, Uncollectible or Draft). Select View invoice to open it on Stripe’s page, or Download PDF to keep a copy. A refunded invoice shows Refunded with the amount. Select Show more invoices to see older ones.
Changing plan
The owner selects Choose a plan (or Change plan once subscribed) to subscribe, move up or move down, and Cancel plan to cancel. How each change works, and the refunds (7 days after your first monthly payment, 30 days after a yearly payment), are in the article on changing or cancelling your plan.
When a payment is overdue
A red notice says Your last payment did not go through and the date to pay by. The owner can select Pay now to pay the open invoice on Stripe’s page, or Update card. Plan changes wait until the invoice is paid. If it is still unpaid on that date, the plan ends, your studio moves to Free and only the owner can sign in until you subscribe again.
Usage
The Usage tab shows each limit against what your plan allows, for example “14 of 20”, or “2, unlimited”:
- Active members this month: people who booked or bought something since the date shown.
- Staff logins, Rooms, Locations, Passes and Memberships.
A bar fills as you get close and turns amber from 80%. Over a limit, the line says your studio is over the plan’s limit: what you have keeps working, but nothing new can be added. What each limit blocks is in the article on plan limits.
