Add bookings to a personal calendar
Each member has a private calendar link in their account. Added to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, it shows their booked classes and drops cancelled ones on the next update.
Two ways to get classes into a calendar
- One class at a time: on a class or a booking, the member selects Add to calendar and picks Google Calendar or Apple or Outlook. This adds a single event that does not change afterwards.
- The calendar feed: one private link that keeps all their booked classes in their own calendar app, and keeps it up to date.
The calendar feed is available on every plan, at no cost to the member.
Set up the calendar feed
- The member opens Account and the Profile tab.
- Under Calendar feed, they choose one of:
- Add to Google Calendar
- Add to Apple Calendar
- Copy link, to paste into another calendar app, such as Outlook.
From then on, their confirmed upcoming classes appear in that calendar. When they cancel, or the studio cancels a class, it drops off on the calendar’s next update. Times follow the studio’s time zone.
Calendar apps decide how often they check the link, so a change can take a while to show. Google Calendar in particular can take several hours. The booking pages and e-mails always have the latest information.
Keep the link private
Anyone with the link can see the member’s bookings. If they shared it by mistake:
- They select Make a new link and confirm.
- The old link stops working at once, and calendars that used it stop updating.
- They add the new link to their calendar again.
Note: The feed shows class bookings only. Staff cannot see or change a member’s link.
For your studio’s own calendar
On Starter and up, teachers connect Google Calendar in My profile, My schedule. Their busy times then block private session slots, and their own classes and private sessions show in their Google Calendar automatically, without member names. See Your schedule, hours and Google Calendar.
