How members book a class
Members open your schedule, pick a class and select Book. If they have no pass yet, they choose one and pay in the same step, or pay at the studio for a single class if you allow it.
Where members book
Members book on your studio’s booking pages: your address on elastudio, or the booking widget on your own website. Both work the same way, in English or Brazilian Portuguese. The pages show your name, logo and colours.
Booking with a pass they already have
- On Schedule, the member taps a class to see its details, spots left and teacher.
- They select Book.
- Under Pay with, the pass or membership marked Suggested is chosen. They can pick another.
- The first time, they read and accept your studio documents, such as the terms and waiver.
- They select Confirm booking.
They see You’re booked, and the Booking confirmed e-mail follows. The booking sheet shows the cancellation deadline before they confirm.
Booking and buying in one go
If the member has nothing that covers the class, the sheet lists Passes that cover this class: every pass or membership that would let them book it.
- They choose one and see the price and its rule, for example “4 classes, valid 1 month”.
- If they are not signed in, they enter their name and e-mail under Your details, tick I am 18 or older., and type the 6-digit code sent to that e-mail. No password or separate sign-up page. Without the tick, they see “You must be 18 or older to book online. Members under 18 are registered by the studio.”
- If your studio offers promo codes (Starter plan and up), they can add one with Have a promo code?.
- They pay by card or Pix. Their spot is held for 30 minutes while they pay.
Paying books the class and creates the pass in one step. The member gets the confirmation and the receipt by e-mail.
If you turned on Members can book and pay at the studio (Settings, Payments, tab How members pay), a member buying a single class here can also choose Pay at the studio. The spot is booked at once, and the confirmation says how much to pay on arrival. Up to 2 unpaid classes per member.
When a class cannot be booked
The schedule explains why, for example Full: join the waitlist, Booking closed, Opens on a date, or Booked by the studio. Booking opens 60 days before a class by default. You decide when booking closes in Settings, group What you sell, Booking rules, with Booking closes (minutes before class).
Note: The waitlist is on the Starter plan and up. Below Starter a full class simply reads full. Joining a waitlist needs a signed-in account. Buying a class spot does not.
Members find all their bookings in Account, under Bookings.
