Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Create an event or workshop

Open Events and select New event. Give it a date, a place and the number of places, then add one or more ticket types with their prices. Members buy tickets online, and you can sell them at the desk, check people in or cancel the event.

Create the event

  1. Open Events in the menu and select New event.
  2. Write the Title and, if you like, the Description and Refund policy in each of your languages. Members see the refund policy before they pay.
  3. Under When, set Starts on, Start time, Ends on and End time. An event can last several days.
  4. Optional: choose the Place, a Host teacher (they see the list of attendees, names only) and an Image.
  5. To cap the whole event, turn on Limit the total places and set Total places. All ticket types together never sell more.
  6. Under Who sees it, choose On sale (shown on your schedule and website and sold online), Shown, not sold online (staff can still sell at the desk) or Hidden (only staff see it, while you prepare).
  7. Reminder e-mail the day before is on, sent at 18:00 unless you change Send at.
  8. Select Save.

Events are on every plan, including Free. Only the owner and admins create, edit, publish, hide or cancel events. Front desk sees them, sells tickets and checks people in.

Add ticket types

An event needs at least one ticket type before anyone can buy. Select Add ticket type and fill in:

  • Name, for example Full price, Early bird or Member, and an optional Description.
  • Price, in your studio’s currency. Zero makes it a free ticket.
  • Limit how many of this type and How many, if this type has its own cap.
  • Limit per member and Most one member can buy.
  • Stop online sales earlier, with Last day of sales and Until. Otherwise online sales stop when the event starts.

Archiving a ticket type stops new sales; tickets already sold stay valid.

Sell and check in

Members find the event on your booking pages and in the booking widget, pick their tickets and pay like any other purchase. Their tickets show in their account, under Tickets.

At the desk, open the event and select Sell tickets. In Who is coming, mark each person as they arrive.

Cancel the event

Select Cancel event. Every ticket is cancelled. Refund every paid ticket sends card and Pix back through Stripe and records cash and transfers as refunded; it needs the refund permission. With Tell ticket holders on, each person with a ticket gets one Event cancelled e-mail in their language, listing their tickets and the refund.

An event with no tickets sold can be removed with Delete event instead.
