Import your brand from your website
In Theme, Import my brand from my website reads your site and suggests your logo, icon, colours, fonts, name and description. You pick what to use, apply it to your theme draft, check the preview and publish.
Before you start
You need your website’s public address, for example yourstudio.com. The owner and admins can use this, on every plan. Nothing changes until you apply, and nothing reaches members until you publish.
Import it
- Open Settings (the cog at the bottom of the menu) and, under What members see, select Theme.
- Select Import my brand from my website.
- Type the address under Your website and select Read my website. It takes a few seconds. elastudio only reads public pages, over https.
- Check each section and keep what you want:
- Name and description: Use as the studio name and Use as the about text.
- Logo: pick an option and Use this logo. Turn on Also use it in dark mode only if the logo shows well on a dark page.
- App icon and favicon: Use this icon.
- Colours: Use these colours, for light and dark. elastudio adjusts any colour that would make text hard to read and lists what it changed.
- Fonts: Use these fonts. When your site’s font is not one of elastudio’s free fonts, you get the closest match.
- Stripe checkout and receipts: if elastudio created your Stripe account, you can also use the logo, icon and colours there. If you connected your own Stripe login, set the branding in Stripe instead.
- Select Apply to my theme. Your brand is now in the theme draft.
- Check the preview, then select Publish.
Social links we found are only shown, not saved. Add your social profiles in About the studio.
If something is missing
- No logo or icon found, or the logo is an SVG file: upload a PNG in Logo and icons.
- No colours or fonts found: your current ones stay.
- “We could not open this website”: check the address, or try your home page.
- You can import a few times an hour. Try again later if you see that message.
To use your own licensed font rather than the closest free one, see Use your own font.
