Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Setup checklist: what to do first

A suggested order for setting up your studio: languages and time zone, rooms, teachers, class types, the schedule, passes, payments, your look, your team, then share your page.

Before you start

This is the order we suggest, because each step uses the one before it. A class on the schedule needs a class type, a teacher and a room, and a pass needs classes to pay for. A small studio can usually finish in an afternoon. Every step works on a phone and on a computer.

The pages named below are in the admin menu or in Settings, the cog at the bottom of the menu. On a phone, open More to find Settings and the pages that are not in the bottom bar.

The checklist

  1. Settings, Languages and time zone: turn on your Languages, choose the Main language and check the Time zone. Only the owner can change languages.
  2. Locations and rooms: add your studio’s address and your rooms. A room sets the usual number of spots for a class.
  3. Teachers: add the people who teach. A teacher can exist without a login.
  4. Class types: choose New class type and write the name and description members see, in each language.
  5. Schedule: choose New class. For a regular class, turn on Repeats every week and choose the days under On these days.
  6. Passes and memberships: choose New pass or New membership for what members buy.
  7. Payments: choose Connect my Stripe account, or Create a Stripe account if you do not have one. Members then pay you by card (and by Pix, for studios in Brazil).
  8. Theme: add your logo and colours, then Publish so members see your look.
  9. Staff: choose Invite to give your team access, each with a role.
  10. Share your booking page with members.

Note: Free includes 20 active members a month, 1 room, 1 staff login, 3 passes and 1 membership. Higher limits start on Starter, and so do features such as the waitlist, private sessions and promo codes. See plan limits.

If you already have members in a spreadsheet

Use Import to bring members, teachers, rooms, classes and prices in from a CSV file, with a preview and an undo for 7 days. Do it after step 4, so the classes your file names already exist. Import is on every plan, including Free.

If you have your own website

Use Website to put your schedule and booking inside your own site. Booking on your own website is on every plan, including Free.
