Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Keep your passes and Stripe products in sync

Every pass, membership and private session in elastudio is also a product with a price in your Stripe account, so Stripe's reports and invoices match. A check runs every night and fixes anything that drifted; Sync now runs it at once.

Where to find it

Open Settings, then Payments, the Stripe tab, and open Products synced with Stripe. It shows the State (In sync, Fixed, Conflicts to check, Failed or Not run yet) and the Last sync. Owners and admins can use it, once Stripe is connected.

What stays in sync

Each pass, membership and private session is a Stripe product with a price in your studio’s currency. Stripe gets the name and description in your studio’s main language.

  • A new price in elastudio creates a new Stripe price at once and makes it the product’s default. The old price is archived, never deleted, so existing memberships keep billing at the price they started on.
  • A new name or description, or archiving a product, reaches Stripe at the next check.
  • A new default price in Stripe, in the same currency and billing period, becomes the new price in elastudio.
  • Archiving a product in Stripe archives it in elastudio, and the other way round. Deleting it in Stripe archives it in elastudio.
  • Class counts, validity, limits and other rules live in elastudio. If someone changes them in Stripe, elastudio puts them back.

The nightly check and Sync now

A check runs every night (06:00 UTC) for every studio with Stripe connected. Sync now runs it straight away; use it after you edit products in the Stripe Dashboard. It then shows how many products were In sync, Fixed, in Conflicts and Unlinked. If something needs a look, a notice at the top of Payments takes you there.

Changed on both sides

If a name or description changed in elastudio and in Stripe since the last check, the later change wins and is used on both sides. The other value is kept under Changed on both sides, with the date, so you can copy it back by hand if you want it.

Products made in Stripe

Products created in the Stripe Dashboard are not sold in elastudio until you import them. They are listed under Products made in Stripe with their price and when they were seen.

  • Import: choose What it is (Pass or Membership), fill in the Name in each language, and for a pass set Classes included and Valid for, in days. The price comes from Stripe. It becomes a pass or membership linked to the same Stripe product and price, and you can set limits and start rules in the product afterwards.
  • Ignore: for Stripe products that have nothing to do with classes. It stays in Stripe, is never sold in elastudio and leaves the list. Nothing changes in Stripe, and it cannot be undone from the page.

The list shows each price with its real interval, for example “per year”. A product can be imported only if it has a default price in your studio’s currency, either a one-time price or one that renews every month.
