Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Choose where e-mail links open

In Website, on the Settings tab, Where e-mail links open decides where every link in your e-mails and messages opens: your page on elastudio, a page of your website with booking blocks, or an address of your own site that elastudio sets up with you. It does not publish anything.

What this setting does, and what it does not

Booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices and payment links all contain links back to your studio. Where e-mail links open decides where those links land.

It does not put booking on your website. To do that, open Website and use the How members book tab: see Add booking to your own website.

The choices side by side

Choice What members see Choose it when
On elastudio, followed by your address (elastudio.app/your-studio) Your studio’s own booking page, with your name, logo and colours. You have no website, or you have not put booking on it yet. It works right away and is the default.
On a page of your website with the booking widget A page of your own site where you pasted booking blocks, such as the schedule and the member account. Links jump straight to the right class or account screen there. You already show booking on your site and want members to stay there.
In a folder of your own website The whole booking site (schedule, account, checkout) under an address of your own website, such as yourstudio.com/agenda, looking like part of your site. elastudio has set it up with you. It shows only after that setup is done.

Change it

  1. Open Settings (the cog at the bottom of the menu) and, under What members see, select Website.
  2. Open the Settings tab.
  3. Find Where e-mail links open and choose one option.
  4. For On a page of your website with the booking widget, type the full address of that page in Page address, starting with https://.
  5. Choose Save.

Note: The page you choose must be on one of the websites listed under Websites that can show your schedule, on the same tab, and it should show the schedule and the member account, so every link has somewhere to land.

An address on your own website

Booking at an address of your own site, such as yourstudio.com/agenda, is set up by elastudio with you, on the Pro plan. There is nothing to install yourself. Write to support@elastudio.app and we plan it together. You will need someone who can change your domain’s settings (for example your Cloudflare account, your domain registrar or your web host), because your site has to pass that address on to elastudio.

Until it is set up, In a folder of your own website does not appear in the list. In How members book, under Your site’s own design, the same offer is shown with the support address.

What does not change

  • Sign-in links bring members back to the page they started from.
  • Your page at elastudio.app/your-studio keeps working whatever you choose, so old links and QR codes still open.
