Add a class or a weekly series
Open Schedule and select New class. Leave Repeats every week off for a one-off class, or turn it on, pick the days and an end, and elastudio fills in the weeks ahead.
Before you start
Create at least one class type, a teacher profile and a location. Repeating classes are included on every plan. The owner, admins and front desk can add classes.
Add a class
- Open Schedule and select New class, or tap an empty time on the calendar (the date is filled in for you).
- Choose the Class type. The teacher, length and spots come from it, and you can change them.
- Check Teacher, Location and Room (or No room).
- Set the Date, Start time, Length in minutes and Spots.
- Select Create class.
Make it repeat
- In the same form, turn on Repeats every week.
- Under On these days, pick one or more weekdays.
- Under Every how many weeks, write 1 for every week or 2 for every other week.
- Under Ends, choose No end date, On a date (then the Last date) or After a number of classes (then the Number of classes).
- Read the sentence under What members will see, for example “Mondays and Wednesdays at 08:00, from 13 Oct, with no end date”.
- Select the button: Create weekly class, or Create 10 classes when the series has a fixed number of dates.
If the first date is not one of the days you picked, the series starts on the next day that is, and the form tells you which date.
Members see new classes on the schedule as soon as you save. A series with no end date is filled in about six months ahead and extended every night, so you never need to recreate it.
When the room is already taken
A room is never booked twice at the same time. If some dates of a new series clash with another use of the room, elastudio lists them and offers to skip them, for example Skip these 2 and create 8, or Change time or room. Skipped dates stay listed on the series, and you can use Add back once the room is free.
Note: You can change the end of a series at any time. See the article on editing one class, the following ones or the whole series.
