How members pay by card and Pix
Members pay on one secure Stripe payment page that offers card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pix together. Monthly memberships are card only.
What members see
When a member buys a pass, a membership or a ticket, or books a class they still need to pay for, they choose How to pay and then pay on a secure payment page from Stripe. It opens inside your booking page, so they stay with your studio.
- Card or Pix: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pix in the same payment page. Pix shows a QR code and a copy and paste code.
- Card: shown when Pix is not active on your Stripe account, and always for monthly memberships.
- Pix QR code: paid straight to your bank, if you set it up, and only while Pix through Stripe is not active (otherwise it stays as a backup). Members see that the studio confirms it after checking its bank.
- Pay at the studio: only for a single class, if you allow it. The spot is booked at once and the member pays on arrival, outside Stripe.
Card and Pix checkout is available on every plan, once your Stripe account is connected.
Spots and time limits
If the payment is for a class, the spot is held for 30 minutes while the member pays. Paying confirms the booking. If time runs out, the spot is released, nothing is charged and the order closes as expired. Expired orders are hidden from your main Sales list. If a Pix QR payment arrives after its order expired, staff can still match it in Pix review.
Language and receipts
The payment page opens in the member’s language. If a signed-in member’s saved language differs from the page they are on, the button says which language the payment page will use. Stripe sends receipts and invoices in each member’s language, with your logo and colours. Members also find every receipt in their account, under Orders.
What you can switch on
In Settings, Payments, the How members pay tab has a section What members can pay with that shows which options are on:
- Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay: needs Stripe connected and taking payments.
- Pix through Stripe: needs Pix active on your Stripe account.
- Pix QR to your bank: set up by the owner in the Pix QR tab of the same page. While Pix through Stripe is active it reads “Backup, not shown while Pix through Stripe is active.”
- Members can book and pay at the studio: a switch in the same section, off by default.
Card brands and wallets shown depend on what your Stripe account accepts.
Note: Pix through Stripe works for one-time purchases only. Monthly memberships are billed by card, on Starter and up. Recurring Pix (Pix Automático) is coming later.
Where the money goes
Every payment goes to your own Stripe account. Your studio’s name appears on the member’s card statement. Stripe charges its fees on your account; elastudio adds nothing.
