Offer an intro deal for new members
An intro offer is a pass or membership with One per person turned on, so each member can buy it only once. Pair it with a promo code for new members if you prefer a discount.
How intro offers work
There is no separate intro offer type. Any pass or membership becomes an intro offer when you turn on One per person: each member can buy it only once. A trial class, a first week unlimited or a “3 classes for new members” pack all work this way.
Create an intro offer
- Open Settings and, in the What you sell group, Passes and memberships. Select New pass (or New membership).
- Give it a clear name, such as “Intro pack: 3 classes”.
- Set the Price, Classes included and How long it lasts.
- Turn on One per person.
- Select Save.
Good choices for a trial:
- Under The period starts, choose On the day of the first class booked, so the time only starts when the new member actually comes.
- Keep the validity short, for example 14 or 30 days, to encourage a quick start.
- Turn off Shown on the pricing page if you want to share it only by link, for example in an ad or a post.
The sentence under Members read ends with “one per person”, so new members see the rule before they buy.
What happens when someone buys twice
Once a member has bought the offer, it no longer appears among the options they can buy online, even after it is used up. The rule counts purchases at your studio only. At the desk, staff should check the member’s profile before selling it again.
A discount instead of a special pack
If you would rather give new members a discount on your normal passes, create a promo code and turn on New members only. It works only for people who have never paid an order at your studio. Promo codes start on the Starter plan.
Note: Intro offers count toward the Free plan’s 3 passes and 1 membership.
