NFS-e as an add-on on Starter and Growth (Brazil)

Who can add it

NFS-e, Brazil’s electronic service invoice, is only for studios in Brazil that pay elastudio in R$.

• Pro: NFS-e is included. There is nothing to add.
• Starter and Growth: add it for R$10 a month, or R$120 a year on a yearly plan. It is billed with your plan, on the same card and the same invoice.
• Free: not available. Choose a paid plan first.

Only the studio owner adds or removes it. Admins see the card and the line Only the studio owner can add or remove it.

Add it

1. Open Settings and choose NFS-e, under Money. You can also go to Plan and usage and find Add-ons.
2. Select Add NFS-e for R$10 a month (on a yearly plan, the yearly price).
3. Read the confirmation and select Add NFS-e.

It starts at once. Today you pay only for the rest of the period you are in; from then on it is charged with your plan. The card shows Added.

It cannot be added:

• during Starter’s free trial (it starts once your plan is paid);
• while a plan change is scheduled, or your plan is set to end (undo that first);
• while an invoice is overdue (pay it first).

The card says which one applies.

Switch it off

On the card, select Switch off and confirm. Nothing is refunded: NFS-e stays on until the end of the period you already paid, and the card shows Ending with the date. Changed your mind before then? Select Keep it: it stays on with no charge now, because that period is already paid.

When NFS-e stops

NFS-e stops at the end of the paid period when you switch the add-on off, cancel your plan, or move from Pro to Starter or Growth without adding it. Never silently:

• the NFS-e page and Plan and usage show NFS-e stops on with the date;
• the owner gets one e-mail a few days before (at most 5).

From that date no new note is issued for your sales, automatically or by your team. A note still waiting to go out is held, and goes if you add NFS-e again. Notes already issued stay on the NFS-e page, and you can still cancel them.

When you change plan

• Up to Pro: the add-on goes, because Pro includes NFS-e. You get a credit for the unused time.
• From Growth to Starter, or monthly to yearly and back: the add-on comes along, on the same billing period as your plan.
• From Pro down to Starter or Growth: while the change waits for the end of your period, the card offers Add NFS-e from the date of the change. It starts with the new plan and nothing is charged now. Don’t add it takes it off again.
• To Free: the add-on ends with your plan.

Note: The automatic refund of your first monthly payment (within 7 days) covers that first invoice only. If the add-on was charged separately in those days, write to support@elastudio.app from the owner’s address.
