Add-ons on your elastudio plan
An add-on switches on one more feature for a fixed price, billed with your plan. The owner adds it in Settings, Plan and usage, tab Add-ons. Added, it starts at once and you pay only for the rest of the period; switched off, it stays until the period you paid ends.
What an add-on is
Some features come with a higher plan but can also be added to a lower one, for a fixed price. The add-on is billed with your plan: the same card, the same invoice, the same monthly or yearly period. A yearly plan pays the add-on’s yearly price.
Today there are three:
| Add-on | Included in | Can be added on | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-mail marketing (the automatic e-mails, the birthday e-mail included) | No plan | Starter, Growth and Pro | US$12.90 a month, or US$129 a year |
| Outgoing webhooks | Pro | Growth | US$21.90 a month, or US$219 a year |
| NFS-e service invoices (studios that pay in R$ only) | Pro | Starter and Growth | R$10 a month, or R$120 a year |
Add-ons are never on Free.
More on each: E-mail marketing, Webhooks: send events to your other systems and NFS-e as an add-on on Starter and Growth.
Where to find them
Open Settings, Plan and usage (under Money), tab Add-ons. Each add-on has a card with what it does, its price, its state and a link to its own settings page:
- Added: on, billed with your plan.
- Ending: switched off, on until the date shown.
- Included: your plan already has it.
- Starts with the new plan: added to a plan change that waits for the end of your period.
The feature’s own page has the same card: Messages, E-mail marketing; Settings, NFS-e; and Settings, Webhooks, under Developers.
Only the studio owner adds or switches off an add-on. Admins see the cards with Add and Remove greyed out, and the line Only the studio owner can add or remove it.
On a plan elastudio set for you free of charge, the cards say elastudio set your plan free of charge. Choose a paid plan in Billing and invoices to add this.
Add one
- On the card, select Add with the add-on’s name and price.
- Read the confirmation and select Add with its name.
It starts now. Today you pay only for the rest of the period you are in, charged to your card at once; from the next period it is charged with your plan. If the card is refused, nothing changes. Your invoices then say Includes with the add-on’s name.
The card says why when you cannot add it, for example:
- Add-ons start after the free trial. Add it once your plan is paid.
- A plan change is scheduled. Undo it, or add this after the change.
- Your plan is set to end. Resume it to add this.
- Pay the overdue invoice first, then add it.
Switch one off
Select Switch off on the card and confirm. Nothing is refunded: the add-on stays until the end of the period you paid, then stops. The card shows Ending and the date. Before that date, Keep it turns it back on with no charge now, because that period is already paid.
Add-ons and plan changes
- Moving up to a plan that includes the feature (Pro): the add-on goes away and you get a credit for the time you did not use.
- Moving between monthly and yearly, or down to another paid plan that can have the add-on: the add-on comes along on the same period as the plan.
- Moving down from Pro: while the change waits, the card can offer to add the feature from the date of the change. Nothing is charged now.
- Cancelling, or moving to Free: the add-on ends with your plan.
When a feature you use is about to stop, the page shows the date on the card and the owner gets an e-mail a few days before.
Note: The automatic refund of your first monthly payment covers that first invoice only, not an add-on charged separately. For that, write to support@elastudio.app from the owner’s address.
