Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Edit an e-mail members get

In Settings, Messages, select Edit on a message to change its subject and text in each language, insert variables, set a reminder's timing, preview it and send yourself a test. Save before testing: the test sends the saved version.

Open a message

  1. Open Settings (the cog at the bottom of the menu; on a phone, under More) and choose Messages.
  2. Messages are grouped, for example Account and access, Classes and bookings and Orders, payments and plans. Each shows who gets it, such as To: member, and whether it is Sent or Not sent.
  3. Select Edit on the message.

The owner and admins edit messages. Writing your own texts starts on the Starter plan. On Free, the editor shows Available from Starter: switching messages on and off, a reminder’s timing and Back to the default text still work, and texts written before a move to Free keep sending.

Change the text

  • Language: if your studio uses two languages, pick one at the top. Each language has its own text, and members get the one in their language. A language you never edited uses elastudio’s standard text, and the editor says so.
  • Subject and Message: use bold and blank lines for paragraphs. The e-mail goes out with your studio’s logo and colours.
  • Insert a variable: adds a piece filled in for each person, like the member’s name or the class time, between double braces. Only the variables listed for that message work. If you type one that does not exist there, or a brace is missing, saving shows Some variables do not exist in this message and the ones you can use.
  • Back to the default text: puts elastudio’s text back in the language you are on. Save to keep it.

Select Save message when you are done.

Turn it on or off, and timing

Send this message turns an optional message off; your text is kept. Messages marked Required are always sent, for sign-in, security or the law, so the switch stays on. Some show Staff choose each time: staff decide when they act, for example when removing someone from a class.

Reminders such as Class reminder have Send how long before, in hours before the class or session starts, from 1 to 336 (two weeks). People who book after that moment do not get a reminder.

Preview and test

  • Preview shows your changes straight away, with sample data, before you save.
  • Send me a test sends the saved version to your own e-mail, in the language you are on. Save first if you changed something.

A message marked Coming later can be written now; it starts sending when its feature arrives.

Note: The alerts your team gets are not edited here. Choose them in the Notifications tab, under Studio notifications.
