Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Move from bsport to elastudio

Bring your members, passes, bookings and sales over from bsport in an afternoon. You export each list from bsport, upload it in elastudio, check it, and import. Nothing is saved until you press Import, and you can undo an import for 7 days.

How bsport exports

bsport’s terms include a full extract of your data as CSV. Its reports (Reporting tab) download as Excel; you choose the columns of each one.

Before you start

In elastudio, go to Settings, Import, choose bsport under I’m coming from… and follow the files in order. Create your passes and memberships in elastudio first, with the same names as in bsport, so members’ passes find them. The platform publishes little about its exports, so your screens may differ: any column we do not recognise, you match yourself.

Only the owner and admins can import, on every plan, including Free.

File 1: Clients

  1. Open Reporting, choose the Clients report, set the filters and Generate Report.
  2. Download the xlsx file.
  3. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as CSV (File, Save as, CSV UTF-8).

File 2: Active passes

  1. Open Insights, Passes and find the Active Passes at Report Date table.
  2. Download it: it has each pass’s remaining credits and validity dates.
  3. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as CSV (File, Save as, CSV UTF-8).
  4. If the file has no e-mail column, add one (copy it from the members file): bookings, passes and sales find each member by e-mail.
  5. Create the same passes and memberships in elastudio first (Settings, Passes and memberships), with the same names as in the file.

File 3: Payments

  1. Open Reporting, choose the Payments report, pick the dates and Generate Report, then download the xlsx file.
  2. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as CSV (File, Save as, CSV UTF-8).
  3. If the file has no e-mail column, add one (copy it from the members file): bookings, passes and sales find each member by e-mail.

Upload each file

  1. In the guide, choose Upload this file next to the file. The page says it is using the bsport template.
  2. Check the column matches. The columns the template knows are already matched. Choose a field for any column left on Ignore this column, or leave it ignored.
  3. Check Dates in the file. The template sets it, and you can change it to day first, month first or year first.
  4. Choose Preview, then Check every row. Nothing is saved yet.
  5. Choose Continue to import, then Import now.

Once a file is in, the guide marks it Imported and you move on to the next one. Rows bsport exports that are not real data, such as cancelled visits or unpaid orders, show as left out in the check, never as errors.

If your file looks different

This guide is a best effort. bsport publishes little about its exports, so the menus and column names here may not match your screens.

Nothing blocks the import when a column is not recognised:

  • Any column elastudio does not recognise stays on Ignore this column. Match it to an elastudio field yourself, or leave it out.
  • Use Save this column match as to keep your matches for the next file of the same kind.
  • If the guide does not fit your screens at all, choose Another system or a spreadsheet under I’m coming from… and match every column yourself, as in Import members from a spreadsheet.

Want a better guide for bsport? Send the first row of your file (the column names only, never member data) to support@elastudio.app and we update the template.

What never comes over

Marketing, WhatsApp and SMS consent (members give it again in elastudio), card details, and identity documents.
