Who owns the data, backups, security and your members' rights.
- Who owns your studio's data, and where is it kept?Your studio owns its data: members, bookings, sales and content. elastudio handles it only to run the service for you, never sells it, and keeps it on Cloudflare servers in North America.
- Backups and recovering lost dataelastudio backs up every studio every night and keeps 30 days of backups. If something is deleted or changed by mistake, write to support@elastudio.app and we can recover it.
- How elastudio keeps your studio secureData is encrypted, each studio is kept apart from the others, card numbers never reach elastudio, and nobody signs in with a password sent by e-mail. Here is what we do and what you can do.
- Set up two-step verificationAdd elastudio to an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password) with a QR code, confirm with a code, and save your 10 backup codes. Then your password always asks for a code from the app.
- Your members' privacy rights, and how to handle requestsMembers can download their data and delete their account themselves. Your studio answers their other privacy requests, and the admin gives you the tools to do it.

- Lost your phone with the authenticator app?Sign in with a backup code, or with a code by e-mail or Google. Lost the backup codes too? elastudio support checks who you are and resets your password and two-step verification.
- Accept elastudio's agreements and publish your privacy noticeIn Settings, Privacy and legal, you publish the privacy notice, booking terms and waiver your members read, starting from elastudio's templates (first tab), and the owner accepts elastudio's Terms, Data Processing Agreement and sub-processor list for the studio (second tab).
