Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us see which pages are used, where people get stuck and which campaigns bring visitors, including recordings of clicks and scrolls with all text on the page hidden. We also remember in this browser, for 90 days, which campaign link brought you. If you switch this on, the data is sent to Google and Microsoft in the United States, and you agree to that transfer.

How to run your studio on elastudio, from your first class to your monthly reports.

Choose your members' languages, and turn one on or off

You pick the languages members see when you create your studio: English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish or any mix. Languages that are off show greyed out in every editor, and the owner turns one on in Settings, Languages and time zone.

The languages elastudio speaks

elastudio works in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish (neutral Latin American Spanish). The admin, your booking pages, the booking widget on your website, the e-mails and the team app work in all three. Your studio uses the ones you turn on.

Choose them when you sign up

On the first sign-up step, under Languages your members see:

  1. Main language: your booking page and e-mails start in it. We suggest one from your country, and you can change it.
  2. Also in: tick any other language members can switch to. The boxes come ticked with a sensible start, usually your country’s language and English.

Nothing here is final. You can change it later in Settings.

Languages that are off show greyed out

Every editor with a text per language (class types, passes and memberships, events, e-mails, your pages, waivers and the rest) shows one tab per elastudio language: yours first, then the ones that are off, greyed out, with Turn on in Settings > Languages and time zone and a link.

  • Nothing is ever required in a language that is off.
  • In the e-mail editor you can still open a greyed language to read a text saved in it, but it is read only, with no preview or test e-mail.
  • In the legal texts and waiver editor, a language that is off shows as a greyed section with its saved text, if any.

Turn a language on

  1. Open Settings (the cog at the bottom of the menu; on a phone, under More) and choose Languages and time zone in the Studio group.
  2. Under Languages, turn the language on and save.

Its tabs become editable in every editor, and members can choose it on your booking pages and in their account. Texts you have not written yet show in your Main language until you fill them in.

Only the owner can change languages; admins can see them. Keep at least one language on.

Turn a language off

Turning a language off hides it from members: your booking pages and e-mails use only the languages that are on. Nothing you wrote in it is deleted. Turn it back on and the texts are there again.

Note: elastudio does not translate your texts. Write each language yourself, or have someone check it. See Run your studio in more than one language for how members choose their language and how dates and prices look in each one.
